Relieve the stress and misunderstanding between parents and school personnel
Assist parents in understanding their child’s rights and the district’s obligations
Help determine appropriate services, programs, and placements
Provide information regarding implementation of IEP/504
Support and educate parents in advocating for their child so they can be as successful and independent as possible
